How to report a crypto scam in the Netherlands

Act fast. Call your Dutch bank's fraud desk immediately to try to freeze or recall the transfer, then call the Fraudehelpdesk and file a police aangifte.

Report online — the fastest step

Call the Fraudehelpdesk first (088-786 7372 or its 24/7 online form) — it triages and routes you to police and your bank. Then file the police report (aangifte) online at politie.nl, which requires DigiD; without it, report in person at a station.

Fraudehelpdesk: 088-786 7372 (from abroad +31 88 786 7372). Police: 0900-8844; emergency 112.
