How to report a crypto scam in Pakistan
Report to the federal cybercrime authority and contact your bank straight away — keep every transaction detail and act quickly.
Report to these authorities
- •FIA Cyber Crime Wing — file a complaint online, or via the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
- •SECP — the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, for investment fraud.
- •Your bank — call immediately to flag/freeze the transaction.
Do this in every case
- •Stop all contact and send no more money — including "fees" or "taxes" to withdraw.
- •Secure your accounts (passwords + 2FA) and move any remaining crypto.
- •Preserve evidence: screenshots, wallet addresses, transaction hashes.
- •Report the scam wallet address on Chainabuse.
